THYROID TOP DOCTORS DIRECTORY The following listing includes recommended doctors and practitioners for your thyroid care. Please note that being listed here in the Thyroid Top Doctors Directory doesn't necessarily mean a doctor is the right one for you. The doctor may be an empathetic and warm physician, but not open to working with drugs like Armour or T3 drugs. The doctor may be brilliant and innovative, but have a terrible bedside manner. Or the doctor may be quite costly and not on insurance programs. Always call the doctor's office ahead of time to find out more about the doctor's philosophy, approach, costs, and other important factors before going in for your first appointment. Please let me know if you have feedback -- positive or negative -- about doctors listed here, or would like to recommend your "top" doctor. Thanks! -- Mary |

Singapore Dr Yeoh Swee Inn, Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, Gleneagles
Medical Centre, #07-10, Singapore, 4732622 / 4732387. "After going from doctor to doctor I have
finally found a doctor who listens and is up to date with the latest research. I have visited four doctors
in Singapore, Dr Yeoh is the only one who tested my Ft3 and Ft4 levels. On my first visit she ordered
a lot of blood tests that I had never had done before. The test results revealed anticardiolipin antibodies
(hypercoagulation), below normal human growth hormone and Sjogrens syndrome. I have had the
symptoms of these other diseases for six years and not one other doctor had bothered to do these tests.
As far as I know T3 is not prescribed by endocrinologists in Singapore, up to now I'm not sure if Dr
Yeoh has prescribed for to any of her patients. I am taking Cytomel which I get through the International
Pharmacy with Dr Yeohs knowledge. My T3 levels were below normal for over a year, since I've been
on T3 my blood levels are all normal. Dr Yeoh has allowed me to stay on Cytomel with close monitoring
of my hormone levels. I have found Dr Yeoh to be a very understanding and thorough doctor. She listens
to everything you say and doesn't make you feel like a nut who has symptoms that no one else in the
world has ever had. I highly recommend Dr Yeoh." Singapore Dr Ian Lee, Integrated Medicine, #08-06 Camden Medical Clinic, Singapore, 6333 8618. A reader writes: "Dr Lee looks beyond conventional medicine and believes in using natural options where effective and available. With my symptoms many doctors would have been dismissive however he used data and symptom analysis to diagnose me with female hormone deficiencies, leaky gut syndrome, food allergies and hypothyroidism. All the reading I have done has confirmed his approach and on all accounts was in line with current thinking." A reader writes: "Dr Fok sorted out my thyroid problems with a blend of patience, informative diagrams and advice. When I relocated he continued to take my emails, by so doing providing me reassurance that my thyroid condition was well taken care of. Top marks to this doctor."
